Who uses our systems?

A.

Our systems are very intuitive to use. There are no complicated ways to use your system or odd commands to learn. As we add modules to your system we work closely with you to make sure that we are delivering what you want, when you want it. This close co-operation ensures that when you start to use your Ripleys system you will know everything there is to know about it.

 

For people not involved in the development process we offer face-to-face training or a full presentation.

Do we provide training?

A.

We develop in FileMaker Pro which is a cross-platform database application. This allows us to deliver your system to your desktop, on the web and hand held devices.

All administrators will need to have a full license copy of FileMaker client. Examiners, candidates and contributers will be able to access your system through a normal web browser.

Your Ripleys system is exactly that; yours. We believe in handing over all responsibility for administering your systems to you, that means you can independantly run your exams and events, there are no on-going costs unless you want them.

Who does the system belong to?

If you choose to host your system on our servers then we take security very seriously. We have had many penetration tests run by several of our clients and we always pass with flying colours. All data passsed betwen server and user is SSL encrypted plus additional security features enabled.

 

It is in our interests to make sure your system is secure and the information contained remains confidential. We ensure that regular maintenence is performed and security certificates are up-to-date. Two backups a day are taken of all systems and stored in two additonal locations.

What software do you need?

Once your Ripleys system is installed you will get 6 months free support and then there is a minimal annual support fee.

 

You will be able to call or email anytime and you will always get a prompt response. We are small which means you will always speak to a human being who will know your system intimately, this allows us to react quickly to any concerns you have.
