For online delivery of written exams Ripleys links seamlessly with Surpass through an API, which negates any manual data entry into another system.

Results are delivered straight back into Ripleys, allowing for results to be emailed and statistical analysis to be preformed almost immediately.

Examiners are able to mark written papers online through their secure web portal and can even log in to mark OSCE examinations live if they are unable to attend the exam.

For examiner-led exams like OSCEs, Ripleys has a powerful iPad marking system.

Examiners and candidates use the iPads to view marking guidance, assets and station information plus mark the candidates and give feedback.

This information is fed immediately back into a control panel so the administrators can monitor the exam whilst in progress.

Ripleys are experts in statistical and item analysis of exams. Integrated into the system are a large number of statistics which you can draw from as well as add in your own unique calculations.

Once you have your results in your exam the raw data is crunched to provide you with a multitude of statistical information. All data can be exported to XLS format or saved as a PDF document.

In the question bank you can map questions to the blueprint and curriculum.

On the bank home page you can easily see the spread of questions mapped in the bank.

This information is pulled into the exams so you can see the spread of questions in the exam and make sure your exam has good coverage of the curriculum and/or subjects.

For examiner-led exams it can be tricky to manage all the examiners attending but Ripleys makes this easy. You can send group emails and invite individuals or groups to events and exams.

Once you have granted access to the online portal, examiners can log in to view correspondence and acknowledge or decline exam attendance. Administrators can then easily manage the logistics of exam days and arrange accommodation.

Candidate information is held within an exam and this data is used for contacting them about the exam and post-exam results.

This information is also used to create circuit maps for electronic marking, print mark sheets, create badges, exam lists and schedules.

Candidates can be given secure on-line access which would allow them to book onto exams and view their historical results.

Once all the results are in and you are ready to let the candidates know their results you can email them directly from Ripleys.

Emails and secure pdf documents can be sent to each candidate, these can include a results breakdown by category, curriculum, speciality or learning outcome as well as a pass certificate. Breakdown charts can show comparisons to other candidates / cohorts within the same exam if required.
